As Head of Brand and Creative Strategy, my team and I developed the first brand strategy for Google Cloud that centered on ‘progress’. We worked with several stakeholders (marketing, sales, and engineering), mined customer insights, and collaborated with Wolff Olins to help us build a brand that built off the equity of Google, and be distinctive from competitors like AWS and Microsoft. This work informed a brand campaign, themes for Cloud’s largest event program ‘Next’, its partnership strategy, and internal culture.
